LAUREL, New Jersey – April 20, 2017 – Associa Mid-Atlantic is thrilled to announce further executive staff changes as the branch strives to better serve its local clients. Carol Richard has been appointed to the role of vice president of business development, while Marjo Miles has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Miles will also continue to serve as vice president of communications for the branch.
“We are pleased to announce these new roles for both Carol and Marjo,” said Nancy Hastings, Associa Regional Vice President. “Carol has an extensive career in real estate and community management and has had significant success in client growth during her 16 years with Mid-Atlantic. Marjo has also experienced tremendous career growth during her 11 years with the branch. This duo will continue to ensure that Mid-Atlantic provides unsurpassed management and lifestyle services to local clients.”
Richard joined Mid-Atlantic in 2001 after many years at a family-owned real estate and custom home building company. From 2007 until 2017 she served as regional director responsible for 46 clients including on-site locations and portfolio clients managed from two area offices.
Richard earned her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from Community Associations Institute (CAI) in 2004 and is actively involved in the local CAI Chapter, serving in various capacities. Additionally, she served on CAI’s gold star committee, managers’ education committee, and on the Pennsylvania legislative action committee.
Miles joined the Associa team in 2006. In her 11 years with Mid-Atlantic she has held many roles, most recently overseeing the branch’s communications efforts. Going forward, she will serve the dual role of vice president of communications and human resources. In addition, she is dedicated to the success of the local Associa Cares unit and serves as the local committee co-chair. Miles graduated from Rowan University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations.
