BROOKLYN PARK, Minnesota – May 13, 2016 – Associa Minnesota employees are taking advantage of Associa’s nation-wide resources to better equip themselves for the rigors of the community management industry. Two more managers have earned Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designations making that seven total for the year. Four other employees just passed the M-202 test which is in preparation for CAI’s highest level designation – the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM).
“The power of Associa and its commitment to education makes available video conferencing equipment to take the M-202 in our conference room,” said Associa Minnesota Director of Client Development Jesse Dubuque. “We were able to link up with six other offices across the country to get a new perspective on association management and share experiences with people from around the country. I felt this greatly increased the scope of the class and made for a much more enjoyable and positive learning experience.”
The CMCA designation is recognized by Community Associations Institute (CAI) andis the only national certification program designed exclusively for community managers. CAI’s M-202 is a PCAM prerequisite that teaches communication strategies intended to improve resident and board member relations.
