Alter, a graduate of the University of Southern California, is a CPM® (Certified Property Manager) with more than 25 years of experience in management, operations and leasing of shopping centers and office buildings as well as property management, construction and lease renewals. She has been a national instructor for both the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and the American Management Association (AMA). She has taught courses both nationally and internationally authored two books, Strategies for Working With Small Tenants and Say it With Success: Foolproof Ways to Improve Your Presentation Skills.
