Melanie Hudson began her career in Community Management field in 2003 and has earned her AMS ( Association Management Specialist ) from Community Associations Institute ( CAI ). She began her community management career in San Diego, California where she ran a Community Management firm with her mother and sister. Before joining her family, Melanie served in the U.S. Airforce for seven (7) years with her concentration on the IT industry before transitioning to the civilian sector of IT. While living in California, she visited Western North Carolina on many occasions and fell in love with the area. This passion for the area led her to sell her portion of the family business and move to Hendersonville NC. She enjoys the quieter life here in the mountains and takes advantage of the hiking and biking opportunities whenever she can.
