Mr. Carona has more than 42 years of experience as a leader and trailblazer in the community management industry. His vast expertise includes real-estate brokerage, development and construction, leasing, management, and maintenance of multi-family communities. As the founder and CEO of Associa, Mr. Carona’s main focus is the company’s business development, client retention, and technology.
In addition to his professional career, Mr. Carona has served three terms as a member of the Texas House of Representatives and six terms as a member of the Texas State Senate. He is a former President Pro Tempore of the Texas Senate and a recipient of more than 400 public service awards, including repeated recognition as a Top 10 Legislator and numerous Legislator of the Year honors. He has also served as bank director for a public institution and is currently the owner of First National Bank of Kemp.
Mr. Carona holds the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designations and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Carona is married, father of five children, and grandfather of eight. He enjoys spending time with his family, ranching, and traveling.
